This information has been provided to my by Ivajean Sidner Webb. Ivajean is the 4th Great Granddaughter of Martin Seidner, Sidener and his wife Margaret Mira Schotte Sidener.

Ivajean sent me the following information...

"I know that Martin Seidner, Sidener is buried there (Old Union Christian Church Cemetery) as is his wife Margaret Mira Schotte Sidener. Martin came to this country on the ship Phoenix, October 4, 1754 and landed at Philadelphia. He came with two brothers, but one died coming across. The other brother was Michael.

Martin was born in Strausberg, Germany in 1733 and died at Loradale, Fayette County, Kentucky on April 1, 1806.

His wife, Margaret died in 1816.

When Martin was in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania he was married to Margaret and they had 14 children. They moved to where Hagerstown, Maryland is now. From there they moved to Lexington, Kentucky. At one time the Sidener's owned way over 1,000 acres around Lexington, probably around Loradale. Several of their sons moved to Ohio and settled in Madison County, Ohio. They include a son, Phillip who was born in 1756 in the Earl Township of  Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Phillip died in Madison County, Ohio in 1826.

Martin is the father of Conrad Sidener, also buried at Old UnionCemetery."
